About Me
Hi, my name is Bonnie. I have been drawing and painting for 30 years. I remember drawing horses as a child. My grandfather, noticing my propensity for art, bought a charcoal drawing set which included multiple projects. I soon had completed every project in the set and was wanting more. I spent the majority of my time in the horse barn and riding my horse. Later, after college and marriage and children I would draw as time allowed, I often drew their portraits, or just practiced my skills. Throughout life I continued drawing portraits, and started oil painting, concentrating on still life and portraits, which I have done for the last eight years and continue to do often. For the last five years I have drawn and painted nearly daily. So, art has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. It is wonderful to narrow my practice to animal portraits.
